iSeahorse Data Acquisition System

iSeahorse is the first data acquisition system that harnesses the power of crowd-sourcing to gather data, which is used to to improve understanding of seahorse species and protect them from overfishing and other threats. Over the course of the project I:

• Designed and developed the entire system from the ground up
• Lead Agile planning and development, successfully completing ahead of time
• Implemented asynchronous processes to efficiently handle 40,000+ users
• Developed data acquisition system in PHP for Drupal, reaching 40,000+ users
• Utilized REST API to manage data, enabling global research collaborations
